We are Bierfamilie.nl and you can order the most unique craft and specialty beers from us. Our goal is to introduce you to a wide range of different specialty beers. How do we do this? By giving you fun beer anecdotes, inspiring stories and food pairing tips! Through our platform we give breweries the opportunity to show you the unique story behind the brewery and its beers. By tasting and assessing the various beers, we share all information with our 'family members'.

The idea behind Bierfamilie.nl

We, founders Marco Kamlag (left) and Mark Kokkelkoren (right), were sitting in a brown café in Amsterdam on a cold winter day in January 2016. We had discussed setting up our own company several times, but a creative concept was missing. After having drunk several specialty beers, the discussion about having our own webshop arose again. We looked at each other, both took a good sip of the Jopen Mooi Nel IPA and the decision was made. Special beer! We are going to start an online business in specialty beer!

After we styled our own webshop with the help of co-founder Lars Kokkelkoren (middle, Mark's brother) and stocked up all the beers, a spectacular opening for friends and family followed in September 2017 and the website went live.

Our goal is to convey the passion and experience of the beer brewery to the beer lover. Behind every brewery and their beers there is a unique story. By passing these stories on to our beer family members, it has been shown that the beers are starting to taste better and better.

And that is why we are the most special family in the Netherlands!

Bierfamilie.nl is the platform for consumers

By visiting many breweries and being inspired by the unique stories behind the brewery and its beers, all three of us have become true lovers of specialty beers. It is therefore very important for us to pass these stories on to our 'Beer family'. By sharing this information, the beers will be appreciated extra. The carefully composed beer packages always include an overview of the contents of the package and important specifications.

It is also possible to give a beer package as a gift. The advantage of this is that you can choose a delivery date yourself and add a personal message. This way you can really surprise someone for a birthday or give a thank you for his/her help.

Our range now consists of more than 250 different specialty beers from more than 75 brewers. These beers are stored at the right temperature in a dark room, so that the flavors are never lost. Always keep a close eye on our website and newsletter, because the range is still being expanded. We want to be able to continue to offer beer lovers and explorers in specialty beers a wide range.

We ship all orders in extra sturdy shipping boxes with inserts, so that the risk of breakage is nil. If a glassware still breaks, we will of course not leave our family members out in the cold.

Family members always help each other, so we always find a suitable solution!
